When women rise, we all rise! Service Stream marks another year of leadership transformation
Last week, we proudly closed out another year of WomenRise, graduating 24 incredible participants: 8 from our Senior cohort and 16 from our Emerging Leaders cohort.
Over two days, all WomenRise graduates delivered moving and inspiring presentations on what they’ve learned about leadership and themselves over the course of the program. We heard uplifting stories of courage and transformation bringing hope and new energy to all those in attendance.
Why does WomenRise matter?
Because leadership is about more than titles. It’s about creating the space, skills, and confidence for women to thrive and to lead in ways that last.
What sets WomenRise apart?
The WomenRise program, developed in partnership with Claudia Cannone from Success2you, is a tailored and dynamic journey of coaching, mentoring, feedback and collaboration. It is designed to amplify strengths, accelerate impact, and support women leaders to rise here at Service Stream.
Service Stream’s Organisational Development Consultant and WomenRise Program Coordinator Abby Morkel says WomenRise is about building leaders that embody courage and authenticity.
“One of my favourite things about leadership development is that it’s about growth and doing the inner work. Leaders who recognise their blind spots, admit mistakes, and grow in public don’t just earn trust, they shape culture and leave a legacy. And that’s exactly what WomenRise is all about,” says Abby.
But the true impact of WomenRise is best captured in the voices of our graduates, whose reflections highlight the personal growth and transformation sparked by the program.
“WomenRise gave me the space to reflect, grow, and reconnect with my own leadership style, and reminded me that how we lead matters just as much as what we deliver,” says Anna Hartley, Brand and Communication Lead.
“The WomenRise program gave me valuable insight into my skills and leadership style. I had the privilege of connecting with incredible women who not only strengthened my sense of self-worth but also inspired a power shift in how I approach leadership,” says Tiffany Watson, Project Manager.
"WomenRise has truly been one of the most transformative experiences of my career. It has given me the chance to delve deeply into what leadership means to me personally and has connected me with a remarkable network of passionate female leaders across our business. Listening to the inspiring stories of previous Alumni has reinforced the power of adaptive leadership and the positive influence it can have. I am particularly grateful for the impact WomenRise has had on women eager to elevate their careers and make their mark here at Service Stream," says Trudy Lober, Contract Manager.
Congratulations to all our 2025 graduates and thank you for showing us that when women rise, we all rise
