Service Stream has been named a finalist in the NSCA Foundation’s 2026 National Safety Awards of Excellence, recognising our ongoing commitment to strengthening safety leadership and culture across our business.

We have been shortlisted in the Best Safety Leadership Program/Initiative category for our approach to building safety leadership capability and embedding safe behaviours into the way we work.

At the heart of our approach is Walk. Talk. Lead. Care., Service Stream’s safety leadership model designed to turn our safety expectations into clear, everyday behaviours.

The model encourages our people and leaders to actively demonstrate what good safety leadership looks like: being visible and engaged, having meaningful conversations, taking ownership and showing genuine care for the people around us.

Supported by critical safety controls, workforce participation and a strong learning culture, Walk. Talk. Lead. Care. helps embed safety leadership into how we plan, make decisions and deliver work across Service Stream.

Being named a finalist is great recognition of the work taking place across our business and, importantly, the commitment of our people who bring these behaviours to life every day.
