Service Stream has secured a significant long-term Base Services Contract with the Australian Department of Defence, providing Property and Asset Services across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

From February 2026, Service Stream will deliver a range of services including estate upkeep, land management, aerodrome operations, and training area and range management across 113 Defence sites and training facilities, including 8 major bases.  

As we prepare to hit the ground running, we’re looking for talented individuals and partners to join our team and help us deliver across this critically important contract.

Meet the Team Town Halls - Direct Employment

Service Stream has held a series of face-to-face and virtual information sessions since September to introduce ourselves and provide an overview of the opportunities available as part of this new contract. 

These sessions gave an outline of who we are, provided an overview of the contract scope, shared more information Service Stream benefits and career development pathways, and outlined the recruitment process. 

Since then, we have held some live virtual updates. You can view the latest update on the right.

Follow-on Information Sessions

We have scheduled a few follow-on information sessions to provide additional information to applicants:

  • Live and online update session on 14th November 2025 at 11am AEDT - HELD
  • Katherine face-to-face session on 25th November 2025 - Katherine Country Club, 40 Pearce St, Katherine South at 12 noon - see changes below

PLEASE NOTE: The planned face-to-face session on 25th November in Katherine was postponed due to Tropical Cyclone Fina. This session was held virtually via livestream on Monday, 1st December at 12pm Darwin time. You can view the recording of this session on the right.
