Service Stream supports Royal Australian Navy 125th Anniversary events at HMAS Coonawarra
Service Stream successfully completed a program of maintenance and refurbishment works across the Command Precinct at HMAS Coonawarra, helping prepare facilities for a series of significant events marking the Royal Australian Navy’s 125th Anniversary.
Working closely with Navy and Security & Estate Group (SEG) stakeholders, the team delivered a range of works to ensure key facilities and surrounding areas were presented to a high standard for commemorative and ceremonial activities, including the unveiling of the Patricia Cam Memorial and Ceremonial Sunset.
The project required a responsive and coordinated approach, with the team balancing event preparation requirements alongside ongoing operational commitments and supporting the transition into the new contract. Through careful planning and execution, Service Stream delivered the required outcomes while maintaining service continuity across the precinct.
The successful delivery of these works reflects the team’s professionalism, commitment and willingness to support stakeholder requirements beyond routine maintenance activities. The efforts of Cameron Doyle, Matt Wyley, Adam Failla and the broader Service Stream team were instrumental in achieving the project outcomes.
The work was acknowledged by the Royal Australian Navy’s Commanding Officer at HMAS Coonawarra, who thanked the team for its support and contribution to the success of the anniversary events.
