ConnectSydney is an incorporated joint venture formed between Service Stream, Boral and Johnson Controls, bringing together the technical, operational and infrastructure expertise of all three organisations. Established to tender for and deliver Transport for NSW’s Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract (SRAPC) for the Harbour Zone, the JV combines complementary strengths that enable large‑scale service delivery across one of Sydney’s most complex transport regions.

The JV’s purpose is to manage, maintain and enhance critical road and transport assets on behalf of Transport for NSW. Its remit spans routine and reactive road maintenance, pavement and surfacing works, intelligent transport systems, bridge and tunnel upkeep, asset management, event and incident response, and strategic upgrades. Although the three partner organisations remain separate legal entities, ConnectSydney operates day‑to‑day as an integrated delivery business with dedicated leadership, governance, systems and workforce capability.

ConnectSydney maintains a strong operational identity, delivering services directly to Transport for NSW as its sole client under the SRAPC framework. Through coordinated program management, asset planning, fault resolution, civil delivery and ITS operations, it plays a critical role in ensuring safety, performance and reliability across some of Sydney’s busiest corridors. Its combined capabilities enable both day‑to‑day maintenance and delivery of complex upgrades that keep the transport network safe, functional and responsive to community needs. Alongside its infrastructure responsibilities, ConnectSydney places strong emphasis on safety, sustainability and workforce wellbeing, recognising the importance of skilled people and resilient systems in managing a large urban transport network.
