Service Stream secures new long-term contract with Urban Utilities

Service Stream's Utilities team has secured a strategic, long-term contract with Urban Utilities to provide maintenance services across their water and wastewater network in South East Queensland.

Leigh Mackender, Service Stream Managing Director, who was in Brisbane today to sign the Contract, said that “this agreement strengthens our operations and maintenance portfolio and cements Service Stream as the pre-eminent provider of O&M services to the Australian Water Industry.”

Urban Utilities has selected Service Stream to deliver the Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems Infrastructure Maintenance Services for more than 2 million of their assets across South East Queensland, including:

  • 114 reservoirs 
  • 150 water boosters and pump stations 
  • 27 wastewater treatment plants, and
  • 339 wastewater pump stations 

The contract, which runs for up to 10 years (5+5 years) is valued at up to $50 million per annum.
