Service Stream recognised as finalist at 2026 CCF SA Industry & Training Awards

Service Stream is proud to have been recognised as a finalist in the Women in Civil Award category at the 2026 Civil Contractors Federation South Australia (CCF SA) Industry & Training Awards.

The recognition highlights the outstanding work of Service Stream’s Adelaide Service Delivery – Field Services team and the ongoing success of the Women of Water (WoW) program, which continues to drive greater inclusion and representation of women in field-based operational roles across the civil and utilities sectors.

Since the commencement of the Adelaide Service Delivery contract in 2021, the team has grown from having no women in civil maintenance roles to now supporting 11 women across field operations, including what is believed to be South Australia’s only all-female sewer crew.

The Women of Water program was established to create meaningful career pathways for women in a traditionally male-dominated industry and continues to deliver strong outcomes through targeted recruitment, leadership support, mentoring opportunities and cultural change initiatives.

The program reflects Service Stream’s ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive workforce and fostering an environment where diverse teams can thrive.

While the team did not take home the award on the evening, being named a finalist is a significant achievement and recognition of the dedication, passion and progress demonstrated by everyone involved in the program.

Service Stream congratulates all finalists and winners at the 2026 CCF SA Industry & Training Awards and is proud to stand alongside so many organisations and individuals contributing to the future of the civil construction industry.
