Service Stream now delivering for Urban Utilities across South East Queensland

Service Stream teams have hit the road and are now proudly delivering essential water and wastewater services for our client Urban Utilities and their 1.6 million customers across South East Queensland.
This week marks the formal start of our long-term partnership with Urban Utilities to provide mechanical, electrical, and control systems maintenance services across the region.
To celebrate the contract commencement, more than 200 people from Service Stream and Urban Utilities came together at the Luggage Point Resource Recovery Centre for a memorable kick-off event.
The day began with a powerful Welcome to Country and blessing from Aunty Kerry Charlton, setting the tone for a respectful and collaborative partnership ahead. We also heard from leaders including Service Stream Executive Director – Utilities, David Zropf, Urban Utilities CEO Paul Arnold, and Executive Leader O&M David Brooker.
Over hot coffee and a hearty breakfast, teams connected and kicked off the day with great energy. Vital safety and process inductions followed, setting the foundation for a smooth, and most importantly, safe start. Then came the exciting rollout of newly branded uniforms, PPE, tools, and vehicles.
A huge thank you to everyone involved, from our incredible Service Stream crew to the Urban Utilities team and all supporting partners. We’re proud to be part of this important work and look forward to delivering value to communities across South East Queensland well into the future.
