Partnering with Working Spirit to enhance veteran employment outcomes
Service Stream is delighted to be partnering with Working Spirit, a registered charity pursuing better employment opportunities and outcomes for veterans, veteran’s families and emergency services veterans.
Improving Veteran employment opportunities is one of Service Stream’s focus areas in our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy and Action Plan. Partnering with Working Spirit provides us access to exceptional talent among our veteran community and will enable Service Stream to further help our veterans find meaningful employment and support their transition into the civilian world.
“At Service Stream, we seek to attract, develop and retain talented people from all walks of life, past experiences and cultural backgrounds. We believe in creating a workforce that resembles the communities we are part of and provide a supportive and inclusive workplace culture that enables all our people to develop and excel,” says Sarah Bottomley, Chief People Officer.
“By actively seeking to improve employment opportunities for our veterans, we honour their service and sacrifices, and tap into a truly exceptional pool of candidates that will only make Service Stream stronger.”
The team at Working Spirit are equally thrilled to welcome Service Stream as a partner.
“We are excited to be partnering with Service Stream who have demonstrated a genuine desire to employ and support veterans, their families, and emergency services veterans to thrive in civilian life.” says Karyn Hinder, Founder of Working Spirit and veteran.
