Introducing Scout the Snout: Our fresh approach to DOGSAFE Training

At Service Stream, safety is at the heart of everything we do, and innovation drives the way we deliver it. That’s why we’re proud to launch our refreshed DOGSAFE Program, developed to equip field workers with the skills and confidence to stay safe when encountering dogs on the job.

Service Stream field workers visit more than 55 million premises every year, and the biggest risk to their safety is dogs. The DOGSAFE Program, first established by Service Stream in 2019, is a clear example of how we’re using creativity and innovation to strengthen workplace safety.

What makes this update unique is our new animated training ambassador, Scout the Snout, who brings safety to life by guiding field workers through practical scenarios in a short, engaging video module. By combining practical safety knowledge with storytelling and animation, we’re making important training more relatable, memorable, and effective.
