Melbourne Industry Briefing for Defence 8

Over the past month, Service Stream have actively engaged with hundreds of partners and suppliers nationwide in preparation for our upcoming bid for the Defence Base Services Transformation (BST) Program.

All up, 11 industry briefing sessions and events were held across the country to showcase the opportunities available with Service Stream as we tender for the Property and Asset Services Contract.

We visited Hobart, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Cairns, Townsville, Darwin, Perth and Exmouth, engaging with 750+ industry professionals and 500+ metro, regional, national and First Nations suppliers interested in opportunities across four work streams.

Service Stream has been shortlisted nationally for the Defence BST program, and welcomes EOI responses for Victoria, Tasmania, Northern Territory, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland.

The BST program is a range of property, building, infrastructure and people services across the Defence estate nationally. Service commencement will begin in early 2025.

Service Stream is focused on Property and Asset Services (PAS) including:

  • Facilities maintenance and asset management,
  • Landscape services and natural resource management,
  • Asset maintenance for airfields, and
  • Training Area and Range Management Services.

We extend a huge thank you to everyone who came to the sessions and spoke with us. Some travelled great distances to join us and we deeply appreciate it.

An extra big thank you to Maddalyn McBeath and the entire ICN team for their support, especially the ICN NT team for coordinating the engagement.

We will be rounding off the showcase with our final remote session on 11th April.

You can find more details here. The EOI submission period closes 31 March 2024.
