Apprentice breakfast with David Zropf
David Zropf, Executive Director Utilities, hosted a breakfast with apprentices this morning at our Wetherill Park depot in Western Sydney.
Apprentices from our Utilities business based in Sydney came together to network with David, share their experiences as apprentices and enjoy a nice breakfast.
Supporting apprentices is very important to David, having started his own career at a coal terminal in Central Queensland as an electrical apprentice.
“It was a fantastic morning sharing stories and really feeling the enthusiasm from all the apprentices and I’m grateful to them for making the time to come together,” says David.
“Having begun my career as an apprentice, I appreciate the value and benefits of the apprenticeship pathway. It’s a rewarding opportunity to combine learning with relevant on-the-job experience and support from the wider team.”

Service Stream has several apprentice programs running across our business, and we are actively seeking to recruit more apprentices into various fields.
