Key Responsibilities
System Support & Leadership
- Provide expert support, training, and guidance on people systems (Workday, Rewards Gateway, etc.)
- Manage Workday master data in line with governance frameworks
- Oversee ticket management, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams (P&E, Payroll, IT) and external vendors
- Develop system documentation, process flows, and user guides
- Lead and support team performance, identifying development opportunities
System Maintenance & Enhancements
- Maintain system configurations, data structures, and processes
- Identify and prioritise system improvements and enhancements
- Translate business requirements into solutions through analysis and recommendations
- Support system design, configuration, testing, and implementation
- Stay up to date with HR technology trends and best practices
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and deliver reports and dashboards (both cyclical and ad hoc)
- Analyse data across integrated systems and identify impacts
- Support data governance and audits to ensure integrity and compliance
- Contribute to policy reviews to align with system capabilities
Skills and Experience
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Proven experience in HRIS/HCM system administration
- Strong Workday experience (Core HCM, Recruitment, Absence, Compensation, Talent highly desirable)
- Experience with ticketing/service management systems
- Previous leadership or team management experience desirable
- Strong understanding of HR systems and processes
- Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Knowledge of HR metrics and employment legislation (desirable)
