You’ll be the go-to person for platform administration, data quality, and user support—solving issues, streamlining ways of working, and helping teams get more value from the tools they rely on every day.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Melbourne office, with flexible hybrid working options. Please note: this opportunity is open to Australian citizens only.
About the Role
- Be the primary administrator and power user for key field and workforce SaaS platforms.
- Manage bulk data operations (imports, asset uploads, and operational data updates).
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and lifecycle management of operational and asset data.
- Monitor data health, investigate issues, identify root causes, and partner with operations to resolve them.
- Work with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into practical technical and data actions.
- Develop lightweight JavaScript-based scripts to support automation and bulk-change activities.
- Train, coach, and support users to build capability and promote best-practice platform usage.
- Maintain configuration and process documentation, data-change records, and vendor engagement notes.
- Assess downstream impacts before changes are implemented to ensure controlled, low-risk execution.
- Manage data change requests end-to-end, from assessment through validation.
- Champion platform capabilities and help teams get the most value from day-to-day use.
- Collaborate with technical teams and operations to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years’ experience in SaaS platform administration, application support, or data analysis.
- Experience with field service, workforce, or asset management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, OFS, Maximo, SAP PM, TechOne).
- Strong capability in bulk data operations, import/export handling, and data integrity checks.
- Understanding of relational data concepts and structured data formats (CSV, JSON, XML).
- Ability to write or interpret lightweight JavaScript for automation and data tasks.
- Proven ability to diagnose data and system issues and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting operational teams and translating business processes into system actions.
- Exposure to field services, utilities, infrastructure, or asset-heavy environments (highly regarded).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Self-starter who is proactive, collaborative, and quick to learn new platforms.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and working independently or in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Platform-specific certifications (desirable, not essential).
- Training or certification in data management, data governance, or business analysis (advantageous).
- Familiarity with ITIL or structured change management methodologies (well regarded).
- Basic SQL and/or reporting experience (e.g., Power BI, Excel, or platform-native reporting).
