About the Opportunity
Service Stream’s Energy division are currently seeking Welding Supervisors (C10) to join our growing company. Based in the Darling Downs region, these positions will be required for the duration of the outage, commencing early-August until project close out expected to be early to mid-November. These positions are site-based roles.

Reporting Line: Superintendent
Key Responsibilities
The Cert 10 Weld Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all welding activities, including pressure part repairs.
- Supervision of multi-disciplined work groups for the execution of work packages in accordance with the approved schedule and scope
- Ensuring compliance with customer hold and witness point and facilitating inspections
- Maintaining accurate and timely QA documentation
- Leading toolbox talks, risk assessments, and adherence to customer fatigue management plan
- Ensure compliance with Cert 10 & AS/NZS 3992
- Liaise with NDT and Quality teams
- Attendance of daily scope progress meetings with our customer’s key personnel including asset engineers and work area coordinators
- Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to provide daily progress tracking
- Support change management processes
About You
To be successful in this role, you are an experienced Welding Supervisor (C10) with a genuine concern for safety.
We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience with outage / turnaround or shutdown preferably in a coal fired power station.
You will also demonstrate and possess the following:
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a coal fired power station
- Cert 10 qualification
- Experience with high-pressure piping and boiler tube repair & replacement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
