About the Opportunity

Service Stream’s Energy division are currently seeking Supervisors to join our growing company.  Based in the Darling Downs region, these positions will be required for the duration of the outage, commencing early-August until project close out expected to be early to mid-November.  These positions are site-based roles.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Superintendent these positions will be responsible for the supervision and support of our blue-collar multi-disciplined work groups. 

• Supervision of multi-disciplined work groups for the execution of work packages in accordance with the approved schedule and scope
• Ensuring compliance with customer hold and witness point and facilitating inspections
• Maintaining accurate and timely QA documentation
• Leading toolbox talks, risk assessments, and adherence to customer fatigue management plan
• Liaise with other work groups, sub-contractors and client representatives
• Attendance of daily scope progress meetings with our customer’s key personnel including asset engineers and work area coordinators
• Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to provide daily progress tracking
• Support change management processes

About You

To be successful in this role, you are an experienced Supervisor of multi-disciplined teams, with a genuine concern for safety.

We are seeking individuals with demonstrated knowledge and experience with outage / turnaround or shutdown preferably in a coal fired power station.

You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in a coal fired power station
• Trade qualified preferred but not essential
• Experienced in one or more of the following areas of plant:
  • Burners
  • Boiler / Pressure Parts
  • Balance of Plant
  • Magaldi
  • Critical Path
  • Stores & Logistics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
