About the Opportunity

Service Stream’s Energy division are currently seeking a Quality Officer (QA / QC) to join our growing company.  Based in the Darling Downs region, this position will be required for the duration of the outage, commencing early-August until project close out expected to be early to mid-November.  This position is a site-based role.

Reporting Line:            Quality Lead

Key Responsibilities


The Quality Officer (QA / QC) will support the Quality Lead to deliver Quality outcomes across the outage. 

  • Facilitate quality processes across all outage scopes
  • Manage ITP’s, NCRs, and hold points
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable AS/NZS standards
  • Liaise with NDT teams and varying work gorups
  • Support change management processes

About You

To be successful in this role, you are an experienced Quality Officer (QA / QC) with a genuine concern for safety.

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience with outage / turnaround or shutdown preferably in a coal fired power station.

You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in a quality role, preferably within a coal fired power station outage environment
  • Cert 10 qualification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with work team members, Supervisors, client and regulatory bodies if and as required
  • Experience with high-pressure piping and boiler tube repair & replacement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
