NSW - ParramattaAt ServiceStream, we’re building the networks that keep Australia connected. We’re now looking for an experienced GIS Developer to join our Automation & Innovation team and help shape the way spatial data supports large scale telecommunications design and construction projects.

This is a hands‑on technical role where you’ll design and build smart, automated GIS solutions that improve data quality, efficiency, and delivery outcomes nationwide.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and maintaining automated GIS tools and workflows to support network design and construction.

• Working with spatial datasets, construction drawings, and QA processes across multiple programs.

• Using Python, SQL, FME, and GIS platforms to streamline data transformation and validation.

• Collaborating with a highly skilled team to design solutions and continuously improve GIS capability.

What we’re looking for

• Around 5+ years’ experience as a GIS Developer in a professional environment.

• Strong capability with QGIS and ESRI ArcGIS products.

• Solid Python development skills, including GIS‑based libraries.

• Experience working with spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, ESRI Geodatabases).

• Confidence using FME for automation and data processing.

Nice to have (but not essential):

• Experience in telecommunications or utility infrastructure.

• Exposure to AWS (S3, Lambda, Redshift).

• Interest or experience in AI/ML applications for spatial data.

• Formal qualification in GIS, IT, or a related discipline.
