About the Role
You will oversee all aspects of the Power sector, ensuring contracts are delivered efficiently, profitability targets are met, and future opportunities are identified and secured. This role reports directly to the General Manager – Power & Network Services and influences a revenue portfolio of $150M+.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the Power sector nationally, ensuring operational performance meets contractual KPIs and SLAs.
- Driving financial outcomes through robust budgeting, forecasting, and analysis frameworks.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and identifying growth opportunities.
- Providing leadership and guidance to direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards across all operations.
- Developing strategic growth plans targeting medium and long-term business objectives.
- Monitoring market trends and responding to opportunities for expansion into new sectors.
- Managing risks and issues to minimise impact on business operations.
About you
Our ideal candidate has previous senior leadership experience in a services-based environment, with the ability to understand the nuances with managing critical infrastructure assets. You will also have:
- Degree in Business Management, Commerce or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing complex business operations, prioritising both operational efficiency and sustained profitability.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Ability to think strategically and influence key internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion to genuinely build relationships that aim to exceed the needs of our clients.
- Exposure to the Power industry is highly desirable, but not essential.
